"Finding same problems as many others. Cannot book holidays too far in advance. Being told there is absolutely nothing available in the UK until October even if we transfer points (at further cost) to RCI. Cannot go abroad at the moment and we will lose our points at end of December. Feel we have been well and truly conned."

"I bought 2 weeks in Diamond Club Calypso in 2004 from a reseller (Timeshare Computer Link - no longer trading as far as I can ascertain) and converted the weeks into RCI points. My contract was "in perpetuity". Maintenance fees are much higher now and generally I can't find suitable exchanges on RCI..."

"Bought 5 weeks trial membership for £3995, every time I try to book a week t am told it is not available.?? Feeling very worried that we have been CONNED."

"We previously had timeshare here when it was under a different name and we were talked into upgrading with a view to sell back!!! We then traded it for an apartment at Beverley Hill Club and about a year and a half ago we were phoned and told we had to move to Hollywood Mirage club asap. We would like to get out of this scheme please as it is very expensive for us being retired and we can never get accommodation in UK when we need it."

"I was sold my time share last summer, I paid a deposit and the rest was via credit.  I have a floating week. Have I been mis-sold?"

"We have 3 weeks with RCI thru the above mentioned resorts and 200 points with Diamond Resorts. Diamond has recently bought Intrawest and we have a loan for extra points. Not happy about the sale and feeling stuck with lots of maintenance fees in perpetuity..."

"Bought '99 and told we had a 7 day cooling off period.  When we phoned to cancel within this period, we were aggressively told it was not possible."

"We cannot get the resort or times we want even up to 2 years in advance.  The management fees are constantly rising and the accommodation we have stayed in over the past 3 years can only be described as shabby."

"We went on what we thought was a holiday we won, but turned out to be timeshare. We bought under pressure and did not know what to do. We thought we would be able to cope but then went on another holiday that we could not really afford and were pressured to upgrade.  Now there are fees to pay and we cant even use it! Please can you help as there is a high finance bill with it as well that we cant afford to pay. How can we just get out of it all?"

"Want to get out of timeshare. Was told they would buy back later if I no longer wanted it, but that is not true. All on finance. Not happy as they are always getting you to spend more."

"Not happy want out....unaware of maintenance fees and that it would be a loan from another source meaning bank... totally misleading.  Joined July last year haven't even used points as just returned from bonus week given to us for joining but on bonus week was pressurised into upgrading to signature. I am livid and horrified that I was drawn into this scam....I want my loan cancelled ASAP."

"We bought our timeshare in Sep 2011,  the worldwide resorts that we were promised no longer exist and the ones that do either have no availability or have a compulsory fee to pay to book plus points it's very frustrating and we were totally Mis-sold.  How do I completely come out of the contract and the annual yearly charge which keeps going up?"

"Original points with GVC now DRI, who convinced us to pay for fractional... but we now pay £1200.00 per annum in maintenance fees, can never book anywhere unless we shout and complain and constantly feel like we're being ripped off.  Can we get out of this mess, compensation would be a bonus but freedom from Diamond is the main aim of this enquiry."

"My partner and I own 1 week at Fuerteventura Elite Club.  We asked them to buy it back of us and they said they would resell our week for us.  We paid them the solicitor fees, but  that was 3 years ago and we have not been over there since then.  The only time we here from them is when they want the annual fee which is now over 500€.   Heard nothing and they don't even answer my letters now, What can we do?"
